“Everything in Moderation” mixed media on paper, 2017
I have a solo show at The Compound Gallery, in Oakland, CA, opening Saturday October 21, so expect a tedious amount of posting between then and now. Apologies in advance.
I detest the title I originally gave this drawing, so now it doesn’t have one.
“Untitled” Mixed media on cardboard, 2015.
A drawing of Mark E Smith inside the shape of Idaho. What more could you possibly want?
I’ve been pretty crap at posting stuff lately, but have now resolved to be a diligent social media contributor, This seems like a fine place to start.
Oh, and you can buy the original, if you want.
If anyone out there finds themselves with time to kill in the vicinity of Pittsburg, CA. between today (4/18) and May18th, I have a solo show at the Los Medanos College Gallery. American Carnage mixed media on scrap paper assemblage, 17.5 x 20 inches, 2017.
Yup, I succumbed and drew the Tangerine Tinted Shit-Gibbon. It made me feel a tiny bit better for a short while. Hang in there people.
You’ll find this drawing, plus a few other small mixed media pieces and prints on show at the Dove Biscuit Studio, inside the amazing Last Bookstore, 453 S Spring St, Los Angeles. Well worth a visit if you like used books, vinyl and ridiculously affordable art.

Stay strong. It’s already Friday in some parts of the world.
Dear People of the Internet, this is the final week of my exhibition ‘We Wish That We Were What We Once Were, Back When We Wanted To Be What We Are Now" at The Compound Gallery in Oakland.
This Sunday, March 13th, there will be a Closing Reception from 3 - 6pm. This event will also apparently include an 'Artist Talk’, starting at 4pm. As of right now I’ve no idea what that will actually consist of. Possibly an incendiary, Trump style oratory during which I vilify and belittle everything we hold dear, followed by the forced removal of random audience members by security guards. Most likely though it will just be me, in a state of mild embarrassment, mumbling incoherently for a short while.
Anyway, the forecast is for rain on Sunday, so if you’ve nothing better to do come along and see for yourself.
“With Friends Like These Who Needs Enemies.”
