I’m delighted to be taking part in a new group show, which opens at The Compound Gallery this Saturday 11/2 from 6 - 9pm. Entitled ‘Mesmerism’ it is inspired by the fascinating history of hypnotism, celestial influence, and magnetic allure. Lots of mesmerizing art to be viewed and even a theremin interlude to be enjoyed! See you there.
Beautiful Mutants in Portland, Oregon.

New Sculpture Edition
Do you feel like your life is lacking a point? Well, good news, I’ve made you one! And what a remarkable point it is. Individually hand-crafted from genuine clay, then fired, glazed and fired again, each point is both majestically imperfect and utterly unique. Such magnificence deserves to be displayed to a maximum effect, and to this end your point comes complete with an equally unique wooden plinth for it to sit atop. Skillfully honed from Douglas Fir which has been hand-finished and adorned with wittily worded, laser cut signage, the combination of point and plinth create a three dimensional visual feat that any art lover would be proud to own.

Solo show opens August 1st
It’s been a long year, and for the last 6 months I’ve been sheltering in place in the middle of a global pandemic and societal collapse. That’s the bad news - the good news is that means I’ve had time to make LOTS OF NEW WORK. So I’m having another solo show at the Compound Gallery, just under a year from the last one. There won’t be an opening, and face coverings must be worn, but if you feel like taking a break from quarantine and seeing some art, the show will be up until September 27th. Take it easy and stay safe.
Solo Show Opens August 17th
I have a solo show opening this Saturday, August 17 at the Compound Gallery in Oakland. There will be a spectacularly lavish opening reception from 6 - 9pm which you’d be foolish not to attend. You can all the details here. Or you can read them on the back of the postcard that I’m posting below. By the way, if you can’t make it to the opening for some reason, the exhibition runs through October 6th, which is lots of time, so you’ve really no excuse. Look forward to seeing you there.
The Bandana of Dissent
You’re looking at the one and only Bandana of Dissent, which is my latest collaboration with the fabulous Compound Gallery in Oakland, CA. Designed by an immigrant and made in the USA, it’s perfect for mopping your fevered brow after the latest round of racist rants from the satsuma-skinned shit-gibbon.
It’s available for purchase right here or even here for a mere $25. Or you can just click on the ‘Buy Art’ button above this post.
Group Show in San Francisco
Cover Art for Cullinary Continentals
I just did the artwork for cover for the latest issue of Spanish culinary magazine ‘Tapas’. It’s a portrait of Daniel Humm, the chef at Eleven Madison Park in NYC, which was recently voted the World’s number one restaurant. The best part of the whole deal was that they also asked me to hand letter all the type on the cover, and even re-draw the Magazine’s logo.
I'm Enthralling (Apparently)
Nice little write up in Hi Fructose. I've always wanted to be described as enthralling!
