Dear People of the Internet, this is the final week of my exhibition
‘We Wish That We Were What We Once Were, Back When We Wanted To Be What
We Are Now" at The Compound Gallery in Oakland.
This Sunday, March 13th, there will be a Closing Reception from 3 - 6pm.
This event will also apparently include an 'Artist Talk’, starting at
4pm. As of right now I’ve no idea what that will actually consist of.
Possibly an incendiary, Trump style oratory during which I vilify and
belittle everything we hold dear, followed by the forced removal of
random audience members by security guards. Most likely though it will
just be me, in a state of mild embarrassment, mumbling incoherently for a
short while.
Anyway, the forecast is for rain on Sunday, so if you’ve nothing better to do come along and see for yourself.
